Alex Ash

Having studied at Chelsea College of Art and then spending ten years working as a designer, art consultant and art teacher, Alex has combined her skills and expert knowledge to pursue her passion working full time as an artist.
 
Inspired by the tranquil sea and sun of her childhood home in Dubai and the moody, dramatic seas of North Yorkshire where she was born and now lives, Alex creates abstract seascapes.
 
Alex works with a range of media, predominantly watercolour, acrylic, resin and 24 carat gold leaf, coating each work with an acrylic pouring, giving a beautiful smooth finish.
